DPDP ready: what it means in our products

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 asks organisations to collect only what they need, with clear consent, and to respect people's rights over their data. Our products are built so that the data trail exists when the DPDP question comes.

Both products are DPDP ready: built with the consent, rights and security practices that the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 expects.

1DayHiringDPDP ready from the first message

  • Consent is recorded per candidate and per purpose (WhatsApp, SMS, RCS, email, voice, AI screening, voice and video recordings, keeping details for future roles) and checked before every single message.
  • No record means no consent. Every outreach is opt-in, and the future-roles permission is never pre-ticked.
  • One tap to opt out, or reply STOP. The opt-out applies on every channel, across the whole company account, and a do-not-call list overrides everything.
  • AI assists and a person decides. Candidates are told an AI assistant helps review their application, and a recruiter makes every final decision.
  • Right to be forgotten: a candidate's data, including uploaded files, is erased on request, assessment partners are asked to delete their copies, and the erasure is logged.
  • Unfinished uploads are deleted automatically after 24 hours.
  • Every employer's data is kept separate at the database level.
  • Clear roles: the employer is the Data Fiduciary and Eficaz is the Data Processor, recorded in campaign terms accepted for every campaign.
  • We do not sell candidate data, build our own database from it or use it to train our own AI models.

EfLearnDPDP ready for every learner

  • A privacy policy written for the DPDP Act, 2023 (version 1.1, effective 28 October 2026).
  • Your rights in one place: access, correction, erasure, withdrawing consent and nominating someone to act for you, with a named grievance officer.
  • Delete your account yourself, in the app or on the website. Your name, email, phone, uploaded HR data, assistant questions and certificate names are erased.
  • Consents are separate and never pre-ticked. Each one is logged with its purpose, terms version and time, and records are never overwritten.
  • Marketing messages are optional, and you can switch them off at any time in Settings → Communications.
  • Essential cookies only. No tracking or advertising cookies.
  • Your personal details are never sent to the AI assistant.
  • In HR analytics, groups smaller than five people are hidden, so no individual can be singled out.
  • Passwords are protected with Argon2id hashing, access is role-based and actions are recorded in an audit log.
